A very interesting image resizing technique. I see no reason this won’t become a standard feature in image editing packages, and possibly worm its way into thumbnail generation on websites.

Man you don’t even know how long I’ve waited for this since disabling my own Movable Type widget (that doesn’t work since Haloscan bypasses that code).

When I watch this video I still wonder about how smart people can be. I found a tool that implements high quality image resizing at http://reshade.com. Seems like some picture processing tools already take advantage of this kind of technology.
