Yale Grad Student’s Off-Grid Tiny House

http://www.jetsongreen.com/2008/08/yale-grad-stude.html

I live just a few minutes from Yale, it's a good sign that they are finding students like this one to attend. Elizabeth's taken the idea of living green and affordable to a new level. I do wonder how the savings stack up over time as compared to the cost of renting in the fairly cheap NH area vs her construction project and any rental costs for parking her trailer.

IPhone: LogMeIn Ignition Brings Simple Remote Control to the iPhone

http://lifehacker.com/5111315/logmein-ignition-brings-simple-remote-control-to-the-iphone

If this was half the price, I would so buy it. What idiot thought $30 was worth it when we've been spoiled by the free version? Make it $10 and for $30, you get a Pro account for a year.

Turn your iPhone into a credit card terminal with a $49.99 application

http://www.techflash.com/venture/Turn_your_iPhone_into_a_credit_card_terminal_with_a_4999_application35979579.html

As the title indicated, you can now use your iPhone as a credit card terminal. I predict applications like this will be a huge boon to the small business person.

Windows 7: Microsoft’s Guided Tour of the Windows 7 Taskbar

http://gizmodo.com/5075340/microsofts-guided-tour-of-the-windows-7-taskbar

Some improvments that MAY offer the best taskbar or dock usage yet. I am digging the peak feature and frankly hate the dock in OSX

Capture web pages of Firefox and Internet Explorer with FireShot!

An interesting FireFox extension for quickly annotating screenshots. Good for quick feedback I'm thinking.
